Sam Gilliss, Senior Vice President, Asset Management. Mr. Gilliss is an Asset Management Senior Vice President at Turning Rock. Within this role, Mr. Gilliss supports the portfolio monitoring, valuation and asset management processes. On a post-close basis, he coordinates with third party valuation firms, collateral agents and capital markets providers. Mr. Gilliss started at Turning Rock as an Associate and was quickly promoted to Vice President and, most recently, Senior Vice President. Prior to his current role, Mr. Gilliss was a member of Alvarez & Marsal’s Valuation Services group where he provided a full suite of valuation services to institutional clients in the areas of financial and tax reporting, complex financial instruments, illiquid securities, and private equity portfolios. Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Gilliss spent three years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Asset & Wealth Management Assurance group where he primarily served traditional asset managers and private equity firms. Mr. Gilliss earned his BA in Business Administration from Washington State University and his Master of Accounting from the University of Washington. Mr. Gilliss is a Certified Public Accountant.
